Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology briefing paper on surrogacy
We are delighted to have supported an official Parliamentary briefing on surrogacy for the House of Commons library.
The Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology prepares factual evidence-based reports to support the work of Parliament, and has prepared its first briefing document on surrogacy. To do so they spoke to a range of experts and researchers, including our director Natalie Gamble.
POST briefings do not assert any opinions or positions, but simply seek to present an accurate balanced picture of the facts and issues for UK Parliamentarians. At a time when a great deal of misinformation about surrogacy is being promoted, we are delighted to see this clear, factual and accurate document which we hope will be widely read by policymakers.
