Perspectives on Surrogacy 2025 survey launched

Please give 10 minutes of your time

A new survey – Perspectives on Surrogacy 2025 – is being conducted by Professor Kirsty Horsey from Loughborough University, in conjunction with SurrogacyUK’s Working Group on Law Reform.

It aims to follow-up on an initial survey, conducted 10 years ago, which led to the report Surrogacy in the UK: Myth Busting and Reform, which was influential in encouraging the Law Commissions’ consultation on surrogacy law.

The survey (which should take only 10-15 minutes to complete) seeks responses from past, current and future surrogates, parents through surrogacy (UK or overseas), intended parents, and anyone who works with surrogates and/or intended parents.

Please help if you can. Data matters; it addresses damaging myths and misconceptions about surrogacy (some of which are being actively promoted at the moment) and may help to shape law reform.  That’s why it’s so important that this survey hears from the full range of those affected by surrogacy.  Whether you are a surrogate, a surrogate-born person, a parent through UK or international surrogacy, an intended parent or a professional, you can really help to make a difference.

More information, including re ethics approval, data control and consent can be found at this link.  Or click here to complete the survey now.
