BB intended parent talks passionately to LBC radio about her experience of surrogacy

A massive well done to BB intended parent Caroline, who was so outraged by a discussion about surrogacy on LBC radio that she decided to dial in. In a nearly 10 minute spontaneous interview, she talked brilliantly and with calm measured passion about the difficult challenges facing parents who need the help of a surrogate to conceive a child, and why she and her partner feel they had no choice but to look to the US for their surrogacy journey.

Having supported parents through a surrogacy for more than 15 years, we know very well the challenges Caroline has faced, and we share her frustration both with the current UK legal framework and with the campaigners against surrogacy who understand very little about it.

With the right support, surrogacy can continue to be a safe, ethical, and accessible path to parenthood – one that brings joy, connection, and hope to everyone involved.

“Once you get going on this journey, you realise just how important it is to talk about, to really know what you’re getting into, and hope that others understand too,” said Caroline. Thank you Caroline for sharing your experience.
