‘Surrogacy for single people’ with Wayne Jackson – Event

Until recently, it wasn’t easy for single parents to go through surrogacy, particularly for UK intended parents – thankfully this has become simpler with the introduction of parental order for single people. With more single people considering surrogacy to complete their family, Brilliant Beginnings decided to host a free online event looking at surrogacy for single people.

We were excited to have Wayne Jackson speaking and answering your questions, following the release of his performance about his own journey as a single man to parenthood ‘From Me To Us’. It is a poignant account of his journey, and the positive impact recent law change has had on it. ‘From Me To Us’ is free to view.

Also speaking at this online event was BB client manager and parent to two through surrogacy Stephen Ashe, and BB surrogate manager Teresa Coote, who, as well as speaking to many prospective surrogates every day, is also a surrogate herself.
