We attended the cross-border surrogacy conference in New York
Our founder Natalie Gamble has been in New York this week, speaking to a global conference of surrogacy lawyers about the evolution of parentage recognition in international surrogacy cases.
Reflecting on her 15 year experience working with British families through surrogacy, Natalie spoke about the difficult early cases which helped set the law for all other parents through international surrogacy, and how international surrogacy has now become a routine part of the High Court’s daily work.
She also spoke about the need for attorneys all over the world to bust myths about surrogacy, and to articulate clearly what ethical surrogacy practice looks like.
You can read more about her speech to the conference on the blog of our sibling organisation NGA Law.
